Todd Landon, ChPC

Owner + Head Coach

My skating career began playing competitive Hockey, transitioned to high-performance Speed Skating, and then evolved into coaching and sport administration. I remain a high-performance Speed Skating coach, continue to play Hockey recreationally, and recently began playing co-ed Ringette.

With many years as a volunteer and professional with provincial and national sport organizations I am an experienced and skilled coach, event manager, volunteer manager, team builder, and public speaker.

Through the Coaching Association of Canada I am recognized as a Chartered Professional Coach, certified Competition-Development Speed Skating Coach with an Advanced Coaching Diploma, and a certified Coach Developer. This builds upon my education background with a Bachelor or Arts in Psychology from Carleton University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Management from Humber College.

  • Chartered Professional Coach

  • Advanced Coaching Diploma

  • Certified Coach Developer

My motivation for coaching and mentoring is to achieve that moment of performance realization when a plan is achieved. My approach to coaching is that sport is an apprenticeship for life; in a sport environment an individual can develop positive characteristics to benefit personal, academic, and professional endeavours.

I look forward to working with you to enhance your players, coaches', and organization's confidence to perform.
